About Us
The Lawn Smith was originally a lawn maintenance company founded in 1982. A short time later we added sprinkler system repairs & installations to our services. Today, we no longer offer lawn maintenance services or sprinkler system installations. We concentrate on what we do best which is sprinkler system repairs & backflow preventer testing. All our technicians are well trained & have the troubleshooting skills to solve your irrigation issues. We use the proper test equipment to help diagnose your particular problems. Whether you need a timer replaced, a valve replaced or having issues with your pump; we can handle it. If you don’t know where your valves are, we have the locating equipment to find & repair them. If you have a leak, we can fix it. If you need your sprinkler heads adjusted or replaced, we can handle it. Our trucks are fully stocked with many types of valves, sprinkler heads and timers. Whatever your irrigation repair needs are, we are here to serve you.

Born and raised in Swansea South Carolina. Graduated at Pelion High School. Fell in love with my beautiful wife, after high school. We have been happily married since 2016. We have a 2 children. I acquired the company in 2023.

I have lived and worked in the Columbia area all of my life. I married my high school sweetheart, we have two children and five grandchildren. I am a dedicated husband, father and Christian Businessman. I have many years of experience as an Irrigation Contractor and Backflow Preventer tester. I started The Lawn Smith LLC in 1982.
