The Lawn Smith has locating equipment that we utilize to help us find and identify missing valves. We have been fortunate enough to find many valves that other area contractors could not locate.
Our technicians are DHEC certified to test backflow preventers. The purpose of having a backflow preventer is to keep bacteria, lawn chemicals, etc. out of the drinking water supply. DHEC requires that a sprinkler system installed after June of 2000, connected to a water meter, have a backflow preventer installed and tested on an annual basis. We are experienced in installing, repairing or replacing them. We can usually rebuild a failed backflow preventer far more economically than replacing it.
