Our technicians are DHEC certified to test backflow preventers. The purpose of having a backflow preventer is to keep bacteria, lawn chemicals, etc. out of the drinking water supply. DHEC requires that a sprinkler system installed after June of 2000, connected to a water meter, have a backflow preventer installed and tested on an annual basis. We are experienced in installing, repairing or replacing them. We can usually rebuild a failed backflow preventer far more economically than replacing it.
